Dr. Kristen Kaploun is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Windsor and opened her private practice 2014, providing services to the Burlington, Oakville and Greater Halton region for over a decade. Dr. Kaploun is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).<\/p>\n
Dr. Kaploun has provided therapy and\/or conducted psychological and neuropsychological assessments since 2006 through clinical positions she has held in various hospital and clinical settings, including: the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre and the Centralized Neuropsychological Services at St. Joseph\u2019s Healthcare in Hamilton; H\u00f4tel-Dieu Grace Hospital; Baycrest; West Park Healthcare Centre; and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. She has facilitated workshops on the cognitive effects of aging and memory, as well as the psychosocial aspects of retirement, for members of the community and other mental health professionals.<\/p>\n

Gulrukh Tahir is a pre\u2011licensing Psychological Associate in Ontario with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysis of Ontario, with approval pending. She works as a supervised clinician at multiple practices, specializing in neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments, including ADHD evaluations. She holds a Master\u2019s in Mental Health from King\u2019s College London and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Applied Psychology from Pakistan, earning the Dean\u2019s Honour and Scholarship throughout her studies. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Therapeutic Assessment for Self-Harm (TA), and the Kiddie Schedule for Schizophrenia and Affective Disorders (Present and Lifetime Version).<\/p>\n
Gulrukh has previously worked with the National Health Services (NHS) and CAMHS in England, providing treatment and management for adults, children, and families, and with Modern Health, USA, supporting individuals with emotional disorders. She also has extensive experience as a school psychologist in Pakistan, providing assessment and support in educational settings. She supports clients from early adolescence through late adulthood, helping to evaluate a wide range of conditions, including acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, ADHD, mood and anxiety-related disorders, trauma-related disorders, and chronic pain.<\/p>\n
She is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and a lifetime member of the Pakistan Psychological Association. Gulrukh provides services across Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton, creating a safe, collaborative, and evidence-based space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey toward growth, resilience, and meaningful change. In addition to English, Gulrukh can provide services in Urdu and Hindi, and has an understanding of the Punjabi language.<\/p>\n
Outside of work, Gulrukh enjoys spending time with friends and her six-year-old daughter.
