Gulrukh Tahir

Gulrukh Tahir is a pre‑licensing Psychological Associate in Ontario with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysis of Ontario, with approval pending. She works as a supervised clinician at multiple practices, specializing in neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments, including ADHD evaluations. She holds a Master’s in Mental Health from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Pakistan, earning the Dean’s Honour and Scholarship throughout her studies. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Therapeutic Assessment for Self-Harm (TA), and the Kiddie Schedule for Schizophrenia and Affective Disorders (Present and Lifetime Version).

Gulrukh has previously worked with the National Health Services (NHS) and CAMHS in England, providing treatment and management for adults, children, and families, and with Modern Health, USA, supporting individuals with emotional disorders. She also has extensive experience as a school psychologist in Pakistan, providing assessment and support in educational settings. She supports clients from early adolescence through late adulthood, helping to evaluate a wide range of conditions, including acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, ADHD, mood and anxiety-related disorders, trauma-related disorders, and chronic pain.

She is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and a lifetime member of the Pakistan Psychological Association. Gulrukh provides services across Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton, creating a safe, collaborative, and evidence-based space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey toward growth, resilience, and meaningful change. In addition to English, Gulrukh can provide services in Urdu and Hindi, and has an understanding of the Punjabi language.

Outside of work, Gulrukh enjoys spending time with friends and her six-year-old daughter. She values her support system for maintaining work-life balance, while also cherishing quiet moments alone, often with a cup of tea.
